We design & manufacture garage doors, provide wholesale & retail, as well as offer the installation & servicing of doors. Our work offers a variety of projects that range from residential retrofits & repairs, contractor remodels, new construction, high end architecturally focused doors, and various commercial projects. While our product range has offerings from economical, to fully custom one-of-a-kind doors: no matter what the project is we focus carefully on each job, one at a time. Pacific Overhead Door has been in operation since 1993, some of its staff have been in the trade since the 1970s, with family roots in the industry since the 1940s.

OPEN POSITION — Aluminum DOOR PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

About the position: We are looking for a new team member who is willing and able to help our operation keep moving and progressing. This person will need to enjoy working hands on in the shop – cutting, drilling, milling, fastening, glazing, cleaning & packaging the final product – safety, working with others, communicating needs: All with an eye on quality & efficiency.

Responsibilities / What we’re looking for:

• Positive attitude, team player

• Excellent communication skills with customers & colleagues

• Basic written, oral, and math aptitude

• Ability to work hands on all day and lift 70lbs.

• Help ensure projects are completed with quality, on time.

• Dedicated to being available during business hours Monday through Friday

• Safe, smart, clean and efficient work habits

• Self-starter, self-managed

Requirements

Work experience with basic power tools
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
3 relevant references (one from previous or current employer)
